Traxxas Tmaxx 3.3 - The Most Powerful T-Maxx Ever
The Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 is a Traxxas Revo in disigue. In fact a good deal of the Traxxas Revo can be found in the new Traxxas Tmaxx 3.3. The transmission internals, clutch, brakes, stronger steering hubs, large diameter axels and of course the new TRX 3.3 power house engine! To cope with the extra power the Maxx has also been beefed up with beefier front and rear bulkheads, shock towers and body mounts, and the chassis is now a full 4mm thick. Because of the increased power a snap-on wheelie bar with three height settings has also been added!
Traxxas Tmaxx more engine, more power, more speed!
The TRX 3.3 is bigger, faster and puts out a whopping 60% more peak horsepower compared to the TRX 2.5. With the heavy-duty shot of extreme horsepower, T-Maxx received additional refinement and strength to keep it tough in the hands of punishing drivers. The new Revo-spec driveline uses oversized, super-duty sealed driveshafts and Revo axle carriers. The axle carriers use larger rubber sealed bearings and sealed pivot balls for long life and virtually maintenance free performance. The Traxxas Tmaxx 3.3 also includes new 3.8" Split Spoke chrome wheels come with pre-glued to Talon tires for high-speed runs and ultimate traction.
Traxxas OptiDrive Electronic Shift
The tranmission found on the Traxxas T-Maxx 3.3 delivers innovative two-speed, forward/reverse operation in an ultra-compact package. The new gearbox design on the Traxxas T-maxx 3.3 combines the compactness of the T-Maxx platform with the internal transmission components that have been proven reliable on and off the track in the Traxxas Revo. The incredible Torque-Control slipper and a powerful 42mm disc brake are carried over from the Revo for superior traction control and braking performance. The Traxxas OptiDrive electronic shift module uses advanced microprocessor control to sense vehicle speed and optimize forward and reverse shifting. Direction control is performed via a third channel on the transmitter.
